Taste Of Randolph
It's time again for one of my favorite street festivals of the season! Taste of Randolph is amazing because since it's on "restaurant row" you literally get to sample the city's hottest and most delicious food all in one place! Not only is it a great culinary adventure, but there is also live music, cool vendors, and it's just an overall badass party.

Do NOT miss Bar Siena's Booth! They are one of my fave spots on restaurant row to begin with so the fast that they will have a booth too is amazing. AND they're not just serving those tiny little festival bites. They are going to have a great variety with their pizza, BomboBurger, Brussels Sprouts skewer, meatballs, AND Parmesan Truffle Potato Skins, WHATTTT???!!
Kanela Breakfast Club
Wanna take Dad to the coolest brunch in town?! Look no further. One of my favorite brekky/brunch spots in Chicago just opened up a brand new location in hot Ukranian Village. Kanela is great because they are a contemporary brunch concept, but since the owners are Greek, there is a ton of Greek influence in their menu.

I'm in love with their Red Velvet French Toast and I'm dying to try their Coco Crunch Pancakes (they have to be as good as they sound, right?! I mean there's Coco Krispies in them!). But they also have some great savory items like their Crab Cake Benedict and Fried Chicken and Waffles with Sriracha Honey sauce. And don't forget to try some of the traditional Greek classics as well: The Spicy Feta omelette looks insane (and super healthy) and if you've never had the traditional Greek dessert, Loukamades, now's your chance... they're like perfect little donuts from heaven doused in honey and toasted walnuts. Exhibitionism- Rolling Stones Exhibit
A must for any cool dad... or anyone cool... or anyone who loves some of the greatest Rock music ever created. Check out Exhibitionism! It's a Rolling Stones exhibit at Navy Pier which tells the history of The Stones in a profound and poignant way. Not only can you walk thought and experience their story and their music. But you can see over 500 rare artifacts from arguably THE greatest Rock N Roll band in history. I have chills just thinking about this.
